Paul Green
Paul Green was born in 1947 and has had various employments including general office, parks and gardens, but currently he is working on the cleaning staff of a residential home in Peterborough, UK. He began writing poetry during the late 1960s, with a number of small collections being published since then. Other interests, apart from the literary arts, include walking and cycling. He has travelled, and walked successfully through areas of Greece, but now chooses to concentrate on central Spain, where an introduction to early Islamic culture is agreeably sustained. His own imprint, founded in 1976, is Spectacular Diseases. It has published mainly pamphlets but also an anthology, Ten British Poets (1993), including the work of Peter Larkin, Gavin Selerie, Nigel Wheale, Rod Mengham, Andrew Duncan and other, younger poets.
