John-Paul Burns
John-Paul Burns is a Masters graduate of The Manchester Writing School (MMU) and holds a degree in Film & Moving Image Production (NUA). He has published poems in Brittle Star, The North, Poetry Salzburg Review, and Introduction X: The Poetry Business Book of New Poets, and essays on the arts in 3:AM Magazine and aAh! Magazine. He has worked on various collaborations with several composers at RNCM, Manchester, including Fruit Bowl, an operetta chronicling the decline and fall of dear friends, Kiwi and Lime. He has received an MMU Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts and Humanities. He lives in Manchester.
