| After a career in nursing Frances-Anne King studied Creative Writing at Bath Spa University from where she graduatedin 2008 with First Class Honours. Since then her poetry has appeared in magazines including Acumen,Agenda, Envoi, Poetry Ireland Review, Poetry Wales, Poetry Salzburg Review,and The Rialto. In 2008 she was highly commended in The New Writer poetry competition. She won second prize inthe 2010 Frogmore Papers Poetry Competition and was a finalist in the Cinnamon Poetry Prize. She helps organise eventsfor the Bath Literature Festival. She is a workshop convener and the creator of the ekphrastic poetry workshop series atthe Holburne Museum in Bath. | ||
