Emily Oldfield
Born in Burnley in 1995, growing up in Rossendale and now living in Manchester, Emily Oldfield is especially drawn to exploring landscape and relationships to it within her work. She is the Editor of Haunt Manchester at Manchester Metropolitan University and has also contributed to the Writing Manchester Map. A passionate performer of her work, Emily has co-curated and read at "Rural Eerie" at The Gothic Manchester Festival 2019, as well as been part of WAM Festival, The Brontė Festival of Women's Writing and Foundations Festival. She has written online for sites including I Love MCR, Louder Than War, Bittersweet Symphonies, and At The Barrier; she is particularly interested in the intersection etween writing, place, music and culture. Grit is her first poetry pamphlet. Calder is her second poetry pamphlet.
