| Alpha is Mike Di Placido's fourth collection of poetry to date. An ex-professional footballer and England Youth International, he followed his muse, after hanging up his boots, graduating with an MA in Poetry from Huddersfield University in 2000. Married with two daughters, he lives and works from his 'pod of a cottage' in a small, North Yorkshire village. As well as reviewing poetry he has also judged competitions, featured on British and European radio, been collected on CD and has had his work translated into several languages. He is a member of the Elmet Trust and The Ted Hughes Society. | ||
